September 2008 - Yes Bay Lodge in SE Alaska

The summer is nearly over and my plans to return home to Florida have been made. The summer season at Yes Bay Lodge in SE Alaska has been fantastic. The fishing is some of the best there is in Alaska. Lately the silver salmon have started their fall run and daily limits of 6 silvers per day has been an easy mark to achieve. I expect the run to continue right through the end of the season in late September. I will be leaving Alaska on the 1st of October and be home around the 5th of October.

This season has been a great one, with fishing projections from the State of Alaska exceeding last years catch. There is still space for the 2009 season with strong bookings. Make plans to join me next year in Alaska for a fishing vacation you won't forget.
