My career in commercial printing started my senior year in High School where I took a vocational class in printing. I also worked on the year book staff in the darkroom and as a photographer.

Later, I attended Antonelli School of Photography in Philadelphia and studied Graphic Design at the Philadelphia Art Institute. I continued working as a graphic designer in the commercial printing business and eventually moved into management of several large commercial printing companies. However, my heart was always in the design and photography end of the business.

Upon leaving the rat race and beginning my second career doing the things I love to do, I knew fishing, boats, photography and graphic design were all going to be an integral part of my semi-retirement.

I can now enjoy my travels and utilize my design and photography skills to create custom websites, marketing materials for my customers and offer my services as a travel / outdoor writer and photographer.

Although I started out in the analog world of design with a straight edge and a blade for paste up, I have made the move into the digital world. I am well versed in the Adobe family of design software, from Illustrator to Photoshop and InDesign, as well as Microsoft Web Expressions for web design.

I am an expert in direct mail marketing and have the resources to handle any size mail project, from 1000 pieces to 500 thousand pieces, couple this with my design and commercial printing background and your mail campaigns are sure to succeed.
